The fool is the unnumbered card and, like the Joker in a conventional pack of cards can occur anywhere, and even replace any of the other cards. The Fool is the spirit of chaos, of the unexpected. It is also a card of innocence and the simple joy of living. Astrologically the card is governed by the Airy element, which makes it as free as the wind. Also, the planet Uranus, which is considered the most eccentric of the planets, ensures that the card is quite lawless, original and inventive.
